Successful candidates will conduct research in chemical biology using plants, in line with the themes of our laboratory. Specific research topics will be determined through discussion based on the laboratory’s main research areas.

Job description	Under the JST CREST research area, “Creation of Novel Functions in Supra-Integrated Systems through Interdisciplinary Integration,” candidates will work on the research project “Plant Organoids Created by Manipulating Intracellular Transport Using Small Molecules.” The successful candidate will conduct research on the exploration of novel bioactive molecules and the elucidation of their mechanisms of action.
Qualifications	Research Scientist Applicants should have received their PhD more than five years prior to appointment, or possess equivalent qualifications. Special Postdoctoral Researcher Applicants should have received their PhD within the past five years, or be expected to obtain their degree by the appointment date.
